You absolutely have to know your states hourly wage, PLEASE know what you must earn NET per hour to support your rent, utilities, etc. And ABOVE ALL: KNOW your employment rights. Too many places will take advantage of you when you are desperate.

Thank you so much for the information on Chegg tutors. I came across it yesterday from Justin Bryant Channel. But you've explained that you just need a bachelor's degree which I have I have been working as a substitute teacher for almost 8 yrs and it pays weekly which is what I need! I'm going to check it out thank you very much.

Work gurus need to stop making videos telling people that jobs that make $8, $15 an hour etc. pay "well." This is is no longer a living wage and job seekers need to be motivated to aim higher. Have you ever heard of inflation? Come on.

You are the only person who got my attention. Other YouTubers don’t describe these sites like you do. Ima check out all these websites to work from home. Yesterday I got a job offer and I did a google hangout interview but they almost got me Till I asked for the salary. The salary was $45.75 for just clerical. That’s sooo fake.’ No job hires anyone for clerical or receptionist for $45.75. That job was a work from home job. That got me so upset because I haven’t found a job for almost a year. I hope your website are real. Thank You ❤️
Angie Nelson (18 days ago)
There are a lot of scammers out there, Ebony. I have a lot of legit job leads over on my site. If you need help finding anything in particular, let me know and I'll try to point you in the right direction.

It was to my understanding that transcription jobs are going by the wayside and are being completely taken over by computers so what is your take on that
Angie Nelson (1 month ago)
There will be some decrease in transcription due to technology. That being said, computers aren't perfect. Transcription editors are still very much needed to make sure those files are correct regardless of whether a computer or a human generated them. The online world moves quickly and you aren't marrying any one industry. If something interests you, take advantage of it while you can. Even if transcription was entirely eliminated in 25 or 30 years, that's still 25 or 30 years that you could have been earning an income from home doing something you enjoyed. If you like something, make hay while the sun shines. Don't let "what if's" dictate your life.

Like, how they want you to type things, and what you need to do if you encounter certain situations, like: If someone stutters, if they cut someone off, if they start speaking a different language, if you can't understand what they said. Stuff like that. There's a certain way you have to type things, and if you make too many mistakes it counts against your personal score.

Angie Nelson they allow you to do multiple projects at once and the pay is still the same for me. Since you can only reach them by email I emailed them a few times to see what determined my pay to be very low but I never got a response.
Angie Nelson (1 month ago)
Bummer, Kayla. From what I have heard in my Facebook Group, sometimes it varies by the project as well. I'd stick with it though if possible. I have a lot of followers who have been with the company for years and enjoy the different projects to which they are assigned along with the flexibility.
Thanks Angie

I have researched all 3 transcription companies that you mentioned. Babbletype has very BAD reviews from actual people that tried it. Rev.com has an F rating with the BBB which should tell you all you need to know about them. And If you read the FINE PRINT with Transcribeme, it will scare you. When you sign up with them and provide your personal information you are authorizing them to share it with “their affiliates”. Whomever that may be? Very disappointing! 😖
Tracy Marks (10 minutes ago)
From anesthetic point on your filming, lower your camera a bit. You have too much space over yourhead. You want your audience to actually see your hand motions yes. Also try to sit up a little bit straighter not totally straight and uncomfortable and pull your shoulders back a bit
Tracy Marks (13 minutes ago)
+Angie Nelson are you paid by these companies to promote them? After what Tammy said I would think you would do some basic research on these companies. I mean an F with the BBB? Why would you promote that type of company?
Angie Nelson (20 days ago)
I'm sorry about your frustration, Lisa. I wish you nothing but the best in your work-at-home job search.
Lisa Saunders (20 days ago)
Angie Nelson  You can't fix your errors if they don't tell you what you did wrong. I also found their tutorial Totally lacking detail on exactly what they expect from you on your transcriptions. I have since read the reviews for Rev.com and Babble and the general consensus is that these jobs are a complete waste of time, even by people that really stuck with it and worked for these companies for a year or so. This is what is so frustrating about trying to work from home. Most of these operations are scams.
Angie Nelson (21 days ago)
Hi, Lisa. I'm sorry to hear you were declined. Unfortunately, not receiving a detailed rejection report is commonplace in the work-at-home world. Most companies report they received hundreds, in some cases thousands, of applications for every one open seat they have available. The bar is often very high for even the simplest positions because of this. And it's just simply not possible to communicate with everyone on an individual basis. Keep applying. The work-at-home job search is often long and requires a lot of determination to overcome a lot of rejection. You won't get there if you give up, however.

Hi, Toyia. I think the only fees you may run into with these is possible a background check. Some customer service-related jobs do require a background check. You can read more about when it's okay to pay fees associated with a job and when it's a sign of a scam at https://theworkathomewife.com/no-fee-work-at-home-jobs/.

Just getting started at the Work at Home and this was great help! I have worked as an Executive Director for 38 years, retired in 2015, and I am so dissatisfied - SO HERE I AM - ready to start my second career!! I don't see many "seasoned" folks on here so I hope there will be something for me. I have very strong clerical skills and that is what I want to focus on. I will leave the Executive level rat race for the younger group. I have thought about the Virtual Assistant but we will see. I want to get my feet wet first. In this clip, you mentioned things coming into your "in box". Are you talking about your e-mail or do I need to create another place to be contacted? Hope you don't mind the questions.

Baby Bunch (2 months ago)
It's hard to even get into these being a beginner. Most people read and read the guidelines, take the test and fail. Transcribme for example is one that absolutely you cannot get any errors. You don't get a second chance. Most of the others are not taking anyone or the tests are hard and not for beginners at all.
Baby Bunch (2 months ago)
Angie Nelson it's not my typing skills. I can type 70 wpm however each site has a certain verbatim and a certain way they want things done. They do not allow for error at all. And being a beginner everyone has a few errors, they don't give feedback on what to work on they just toss you with no help whatsoever

Are these jobs only for people living in USA or can People living in United Kingdom apply and get the jobs?
Angie Nelson (2 months ago)
As a site based in the USA, the job leads I share are specifically targeting those living in North America. The companies in this post https://theworkathomewife.com/worldwide-work-at-home-opportunities/ do hire internationally. Best of luck!
