Hi Nate, Thanks for this video. Since all 3 stocks have dipped a little bit since the recommendation date, due to overall market conditions, is there any one of these 3 in particular you'd recommend we buy now. As I am writing this, Hologic is $38.60, Disney is $103.59 and Clorox is $130.55
Might I recommend waste management? My stock with them is up 60% since 2015 and continuing upward. My regret is I didn't buy more at the time. Also, I wasn't familiar with the first company but I agree disney and Clorox are definitely worth looking into.
In the market of Forex/binary options, you can only make it and continue winning when you are dealing with good strategy and nice Account Manager who can be up and doing, i suffered lost in the hands of dubious Managers until i connected to Mr Frank Robert through his email posted by fellow traders that was when i began to know that they are some sincere Account Managers/Nice Broker with great and wonderful strategies in the market, with Mr Frank i win weekly nothing less than $18k.usd, i will forever remain grateful to him.
URI United Rental inc. I invested in this company in February of 2016. I noticed that the company that I work for was renting equipment from them and I started looking into their stock then I noticed that all the military units were using United Rental Equipment. So I took a chance let's talk has went from $60 per share to $160 per share in 3 years. Lucky me I'm still writing it to the top
SYY - Sysco foodservices is a must buy. Great dividends for decades and large growth with increasing profits. They are the largest foodservices company in the US with holdings in Canada and the UK. If you eat at a restaurant, at school, have someone in the hospital or nursing home, or anywhere food is sold, they most likely buy from Sysco. If a recession hits people are still in hospitals and schools so the stock has some security from freefall during bear markets, despite the expected decline in eating out. Price is down some so great time to buy.
hey nate, i saw this video and i want to buy disney stock. i think even sitting on them for the year is gonan be profiitable (cuz of black panther, avengers, then starwars) i beleive these movies can make a total of at least 1 billion. watching the current dip the market has taken. whats your opinion now? do u stand by your opinion, and should i buy in the dip? or is it gonna get more bearish? im in the market for the long haul ofc, but will disney remain stable and even start to back up again in the short term?
thats not the issue, obv they will do well. but its about opportunity cost. if i got 1k, and that 1k can make more with google. why wouldnt i sit on 1 stock of google rather than a disney stock that matures at 10% a year (btw last year they did less than that) . short term this year based on those movies they will make money. but i have a limited amount of money, would like the most use outa it.
Buy now when it is low. Keep for long time. Disney is not one that you want to trade in and out of, its a long term holding. They are and have been well managed, and a juggernaut in the entertainment industry, and have the iconic image and name. Much like Coca-Cola they will not only survive, but thrive well into the future.
Nate O'Brien yessir! I stopped watching anything about stocks ever since I got into crypto lol. The crash a couple days ago peaked my intetest again. I still hold ones you've mentioned here though and still doing great. Have an idea for a great dividend video stock for you....look into BIP. A company you can hold for 20-30 years and sleep great at night.
You forgot Cannabis Wheaton Income! $CBWTF
Right now they are setting themselves up for success come Canadian legalization 2018. Sitting at 1.80 currently, they will be streaming 500m grams of marijuana/ year by 2021. That will give them a net income of $1.675B a year. With 500m outstanding shares and a average PE ratio of 15, that will be a share price of $50.25 by 2021!! jump in now because there are alot of good years ahead for this stock.
I don't know how I feel about your first pick, but the last 2 seem solid. Really nice explanation about why they are good investments. I'm considering Disney but still on the fence about it. Good luck with your picks!
Has anyone heard of movies anywhere app? Disney made it and it combines apple, Vudu, google and amazon movies into one account. Finally!!!! It’s amazing what they’re doing. Star Wars land in Cali opens soon too
Hey Nate, DIS is one of the stocks I'm watching as well. The CEO said 2017 was a reset year and I think that can do some great things in streaming. Punches are gonna be thrown b/w Netflix and Disney but they own sooo many things. As for a dividend play I like JNJ, which just went down a little bit so their stock in my opinion is worth owning, like you said a safe stock in these kinda weird high-priced times haha.
I have owned Netflix for a while now since then my shares are up 40%. The problem with Disney vs Netflix in streaming I feel is that the Netflix is just way more flexible in terms of content (such as stand up comedy and documentaries) , while in contrast Disney banks on the kids market and the "geek culture" (star wars and marvel) because they plan to only carry their own IPs. But both Star Wars and marvel will need big investments so probably focusing on cinema. I feel like the average household will choose a Netflix subscription over Disney unless they have children, which in that case they would probably have booth. Overall I don't see a way for Disney to "win" over Netflix. I feel like they are not direct competitors, at least not like Netflix and Hulu. What do you think about this?
Most russian companies, Chinese banks/infrastructure, south korea, eastern europe. Even within U.S. there are a few "reasonably priced" such as LGIH AGO MOS
As for russian companies, e.g. OGZPY OPYGY
As for Chinese banks CMAKY, infra ZHEXY/ZHEXF
Eastern europe ATRBF
I made a video a while ago for LGIH, you may be interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mtLmOBtTQYY
Looking to Avg Down Add To EPR/O, and Add WPC to my portfolio inside my Roth IRA - Just fully funded it for 2018. Think that will be all i'll add for this year. Next step is getting my real estate portfolio started.
HOLX, DIS, CLX : I Own CLX It's a good long term buy and hold nice steady growth + nice steady dividend increases. I went out and purchased HOLX & DIS and down 5% now.... JK of course lol, good video.
