Some savings accounts at local banks sometimes offer close to 3% apy. I actually have a savings right now at 3% on up to a 3,000 balance, and then I have another one on any balance at 1.85%apy.
Don't forget about those good ol savings accts. The great part about them, is that they are completely liquid.

I like your videos but if you think the governments are too big to fail then you should research Venezuela. The fact that the US dollar is no longer backed by gold is a huge problem. If everything turns belly up there’s a good chance only those people who invest in precious metals will have a chance.
