Modafinil: What You Need To Know

07:25
Modafinil is a stimulant which is often referred to as a "wakefulness-promoting drug" or "eugeroic" because its stimulant activity is relatively subtle. It's used for conditions characterized by excessive sleepiness and fatigue. The drug is also taken for cognitive enhancing purposes and to help people remain alert for longer periods. Modafinil is particularly effective at supporting cognitive performance in sleep deprivation. Benadryl (Anti-Histamine) & Modafinil (Promotes Histamine Activity) - BAD IDEA!

Check these accessories: http://shrsl.com/15p0p Today we're discussing taking modafinil to rise from bed and later taking benadryl at night to fall asleep. This is a BAD mix (these drugs don't interact well with one another) as one promotes histamine activity and the other is anti-histamine. This means they will cancel each other out, but not without leaving unpleasant side effects for the user. It's best to be careful when using benadryl as it's not the best substance for sleep. Melatonin, Phenibut, (in some cases weed but in others this is a BAD interaction with Modafinil), some benzos.. these may work well with reducing brain activity due to Moda's long half-life. Cathinone: What You Need To Know

13:54
Cathinone is a naturally occurring amphetamine found in khat (Catha edulis). It's rarely used outside of khat, where it works in combination with other drugs to provide fairly typical stimulant effects. Occasionally it's been sold on its own, but cathinone itself is a rare product. Khat, however, is used by millions of people every day. The drug offers amphetamine-like effects, including stimulation, mood lift, and increased cardiovascular activity. Khat has long been used to facilitate social interaction, to provide stimulation, and to decrease hunger. Cathinone serves as the base structure for a large class of drugs, the substituted cathinones. Fentanyl: What You Need To Know

08:17
Fentanyl is a potent opioid which is used for pain relief and anesthesia. It has existed since the 1960s and non-medical use has occurred since the 1970s. The drug has often been misrepresented as other opioids (e.g. heroin and oxycodone), resulting in many deaths. Its potency makes the drug more difficult to dose correctly when you aren’t taking a pharmaceutical product. It offers a range of recreational effects, though it tends to provide less euphoria than other opioids. Baclofen is a GABA-like drug that has been used for decades in the treatment of spasticity. It has muscle relaxant, anxiolytic, and sedative properties. The drug is sometimes taken in non-medical settings because it can provide anxiety reduction, sedation, and some euphoria. It’s usually described as somewhat similar to phenibut in its effects. Zolpidem (Ambien): What You Need To Know

13:36
Zolpidem is a widely used hypnotic that operates at the GABAa receptor. Compared to benzodiazepines, it produces less anxiolysis, muscle relaxation, and anticonvulsant action. At medical doses, it produces little beyond sedation and the negative effects are mild. Due to personal variation, effects like euphoria, CEVs/OEVs, and anxiolysis are rarely noted at only 10 mg. Those effects appear more often (though still not reliably) at common to strong doses. It is effective at improving sleep onset, though the instant-release version isn't very effective at maintaining sleep throughout the night. Pagoclone: What We Know

08:19
Pagoclone is a pharmaceutical substance that was under development for stuttering until the 2010s and was previously investigated for panic, anxiety, and premature ejaculation. It does not have a benzodiazepine structure, but it operates at the benzodiazepine site. Although it had some efficacy in panic and stuttering, it was not sufficient to maintain investment, so the drug has never been commercialized. It has occasionally been sold online, but its use outside of clinical research settings is minimal. N-Ethyl-Nor-Hexedrone (Hexen): What We Know

07:17
N-ethyl-nor-hexedrone (Hexen) is a stimulant in the cathinone class. It's only been on the market since ~2015 and little more than anecdotal reports exist about its activity. It's become somewhat popular due to its recreational potential. People have turned to the drug as an alternative to methamphetamine, cocaine, alpha-PHP, and alpha-PVP, among other recreational stimulants. It's most often used via fast-acting routes of administration (e.g. intranasal and inhalation) to maximize its recreational effects. Though most people are pursuing euphoria when using it, the drug may be used as a productive stimulant at low to common doses. Mirtazapine is a tetracyclic antidepressant in the NaSSA class. It has a similar efficacy to SSRIs and TCAs, and it may be a better option for certain populations. Some recreational effects like euphoria, CEVs, enhancement of cannabis, and dream enhancement have been reported at certain doses. It's not clear how reliable those effects are. 4-Fluoroamphetamine (4-FA): What We Know

08:26
4-Fluoroamphetamine is a substituted amphetamine that offers effects somewhere between those of amphetamine and MDMA. It's been a member of the research chemical market since the late 2000s. It has at times been a more popular research chemical because it does have a unique and potentially desirable effect profile. Not enough is known about the drug to be sure about its safety level, particularly with chronic use. Carisoprodol (Soma): What You Need To Know

10:25
Carisoprodol is a muscle relaxant that is sometimes prescribed to treat musculoskeletal disorders (e.g. back pain). It's also been used recreationally for decades, with its effects reminiscent to some extent of barbiturates, benzodiazepines, and ethanol. There's been an increase in concern about its abuse potential since the 1990s. Some countries have responded by moving away from the substance. It's intertwined with meprobamate, a drug it's metabolized to. 5-MeO-DMT: What You Need To Know

5-MeO-DMT is a psychedelic tryptamine that appears to be an endogenous drug. It can be found in many plants and is also produced by the Bufo alvarius toad. The drug has been used for centuries in South America and the Caribbean. To this day, it is used by indigenous groups in the form of intranasal snuffs. It can produce fully dissociative psychedelic experiences, similar to DMT. However, 5-MeO-DMT is far less visual with its effects and seems more likely to cause terror/anxiety responses. 3-Fluorophenmetrazine (3-FPM) is a substituted amphetamine that’s similar to phenmetrazine, a stimulant which was used for weight loss decades ago. 3-FPM has only been used since 2014. Does Cannabis Addiction Exist?

05:12
Cannabis, like most drugs, is something people can become addicted to and it shares some of its action with other drugs and activities that can be addictive. Addiction is more likely when someone isn't fulfilled in their life, has mental disorders, or has gone through traumatic experiences. On the physical dependence side of the topic (which isn't actually addiction), cannabis does produce tolerance and withdrawal. Methaqualone (Quaalude): What You Need To Know

21:08
Methaqualone is a sedative that falls outside the benzodiazepine and barbiturate classes. It was once a popular pharmaceutical and recreational drug, but its current use is largely relegated to Africa, particularly South Africa. Because it faced few restrictions when it first entered the market, the drug was widely prescribed and perceived as uniquely safe. We now know methaqualone can be used recreationally and can cause physical dependence. A lot of lore exists around the effects. In reality, it's not a massively unique substance and it can be compared to barbiturates, ethanol, carisoprodol, and meprobamate.
