Mushroom Optical Illusion - staring at this mushroom's bizarre natural pattern will get you high...

03:07
Shamanic hunter-gatherer tribes use the intricate, eye-fooling patterns on the underside of the Oak Mazegill mushroom to enter a higher state of consciousness. We found this magical meditation aid growing on an oak stump. Want to try an eye-high for yourself? Stare at the mushroom in the second half of this video and get ready for some crazy visuals. Make sure you have the sound on too for added psychedelia. No camera tricks were used here. This is what the mushroom looks like in real life. In fact it looks weirder in real life. Mould as art

01:35
I don't know what the mould is growing in, but it looked like cheese. At an art exhibit, there was a structure where only one person at a time could look inside. A plexiglass dome separates the viewer from what is inside. Good thing! At the beginning of this short video, you hear Fronx ask "what's going on?" as he wonders what I'm looking at. I do a 360 video of what I see, then walk out to the outside of the structure so you can see from the outside. At the very end, we see Fronx' reaction.

Edible mushroom

13:11
Edible mushrooms are the fleshy and edible fruit bodies of several species of macrofungi (fungi which bear fruiting structures that are large enough to be seen with the naked eye). They can appear either below ground (hypogeous) or above ground (epigeous) where they may be picked by hand. Edibility may be defined by criteria that include absence of poisonous effects on humans and desirable taste and aroma. Edible mushrooms are consumed by humans as comestibles for their nutritional value and they are occasionally consumed for their supposed medicinal value. Mushrooms consumed by those practicing folk medicine are known as medicinal mushrooms. While hallucinogenic mushrooms (e.g. Psilocybin mushrooms) are occasionally consumed for recreational or religious purposes, they can produce severe nausea and disorientation, and are therefore not commonly considered edible mushrooms.
