Questrade Review | The Pros & Cons of Questrade Online Broker

13:01
GET $50 IN COMMISSION-FREE TRADES - https://www.questrade.com/QBAFFL50T102?refid=ayiice9l Today we'll be reviewing the online investment broker, Questrade. Questrade - https://www.questrade.com?refid=ayiice9l 📈 Stock Market Course & Membership Group ➤ https://www.brandonbeavis.com I began using Questrade about 6 months ago and I want to share with you guys my experiences so far. We'll go over the pros & cons and see if it is a suitable online broker for you! Questrade is one of the most popular investment brokers in Canada. It boasts some of the lowest fees/commissions and allows ETF purchases for FREE! About 6 months ago, I set up a self-directed TFSA on Questrade and have been trading on it ever since. So far, I've really enjoyed using Questrade as my online broker. It has done everything that I've expected out of an online broker. The only negative I've experienced is the fact that you do have to start with a minimum of $1,000. That is their threshold and maybe for some new investors looking to invest in the stock market, this may be a little much to commit to. If you enjoyed the video please drop a like to support the channel! And be sure to subscribe to Brandon Beavis Investing for more investing videos!

ETF Where to Invest

06:28
This video will guide you about where to invest. An exchange-traded fund (ETF) is an investment fund traded on stock exchanges, much like stocks. Institutional Traders were the first one to invest in ETFs. ETFs have grown very rapidly in the past few years and investments in ETFs have grown over trillion dollars. ETFs are low cost investment vehicles. ETFs can give you an exposure to tax free municipal or high yield bonds. ETFs are eligible for RRSP in Canada and 401(k) in U.S.A Like any investment vehicle, past performance of ETFs is not an indicator of future performance. It makes sense for an individual average investor to own a pool of stocks or bonds through ETF than to own a single stock. ETFs have been in the market since early 1990s. The first ETF was introduced by Toronto Stock Exchange. S&P / TSX 60 index fund trades under ticker XIU and it tracks 60 of Canada’s largest and most liquid companies. It is managed by Black Rock Inc. The SPDR S & P 500 tracks S & P 500 index which is an index of the 500 largest U.S Companies. It trades under ticker SPY. ETFs are generally cost effective and tax smart. ETFs can help create a well diversified portfolio because they tend to track very specific indexes. Black Rock Inc. controls about 45 percent of the U.S ETF market. About 60 percent of all ETF trading is done by individual investors. Buy and hold kind of investors benefit much more from ETFs than do institutional traders. A number of brokerage houses like Charles Schwab, TD Ameritrade and Fidelity allow customers to trade certain ETFs for free. Vanguard allows all its customers to trade all Vanguard ETFs for free. SPY remains by far the largest ETF on the market with total assets of $90 billion. A share of ETF means you have an ownership in a basket of company stocks. DIA represents 30 stocks of the DJIA index. QQQ represents 100 stocks of NASDAQ 100 index. SPY represents stocks from the S & P 500 index.

BEST STOCK BROKER CANADA 2018

06:24
🔴 *VIP Membership Group* 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make! Join now ► http://bit.ly/2Gk9JfW Best Stock Broker Canada 2018 is here to help you pick the right stock broker for you. I made a Best Broker of 2018 for my USA viewers, but my Canadian viewers don't have the same options and I cover ALL your options here in this video. So #1 we have Questrade Inc. Pros: -Excellent customer service -Decent Mobile app -no account fees -Easy to open and setup account -Commission of 1c/share with 4.95/trade minimum and 9.99 max Cons: -minimum balance of $1000 -24.95/quarter inactivity fee if you hold less than $5000 -Not good for charting or research unless you purchase the trading platform Questrade is probably the best broker available to Canadians - there are fees for lower account balances but they have a competitive commission structure and excellent customer service. The #2 pick is QTrade. Pros: -Good option for young investors -$7.75/trade -under $25000 account balance, quarterly fee is waived -Requirements: -An offer for investors aged 18 to 30 -To qualify, simply add $50 or more a month to a Qtrade Investor account by setting up automatic pre-authorized contributions. Cons: -Not available to everyone -Need to keep adding in $50 a month to be eligible, but can't exceed $25000 to still use commission structure QTrade is a good option for those that want to get started in investing but don't meet Questrade's $1000 minimum. The no quarterly fees under 25000 account is good to keep more savings in your pocket. However once your account grows to close to 25000, I would consider switching to Questrade. ☀️ Referral Tools ☀️ TipRanks (Stock Analysis Tool) ► http://bit.ly/2Gsml5L Webull (Free Stock) ► http://bit.ly/2VS0QR2 M1 Finance (Fractional Shares) ► http://bit.ly/2W4vw1v Questrade (Canadian Broker) ► http://bit.ly/2ZjQLi6 TradingView (Best Charting Tool) ► http://bit.ly/2vaddw9 ☀️ FREE Facebook Group ☀️ Join the Positive Investing Facebook Group ► http://bit.ly/2v6UfGM Don't forget to LIKE, COMMENT and SUBSCRIBE to support the channel - it means a lot to me! Questrade Review 2019 (in 99 Seconds)

01:40
Questrade Review IN-DEPTH: https://canadianprofiteer.com/questrade-review/ ► GET $50 IN FREE TRADES: https://www.questrade.com/QBAFFL50T102?refid=Canada ► OR, during sign-up, type the Questrade Offer Code (Promo Code): CANADA Questrade Homepage: https://www.questrade.com/?refid=Canada NOTE: Enable Closed Captioning (CC) to get more details during this Questrade review. I've been with Questrade for a few years now, and I absolutely love them! Questrade started in 1999. Although there are an overabundance of other online stock brokerages, Questrade ultimately became Canada's largest and most popular brokerage firm. Note: Questrade is NOT QTrade. QTrade is a different brokerage. A LOT of people confuse the two often. At Questrade you can buy and sell stocks, options, funds, precious metals, bonds, IPOs, and execute Forex trades. BENEFITS OF QUESTRADE: ► ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds) are free to buy. ► There are no opening or closing fees, annual fees, or hidden fees. (the same applies to registered accounts e.g., RRSP, TFSA) ► The price to buy stocks is $0.01 per share with a minimum of $4.95 and a max $9.95 charge. (pricing hasn't changed in over 20 years) ► If you're an active trader, then the pricing structure is much, much cheaper. ► You can hold dual currencies (USD and CAD) at the same time in your account. (works in registered accounts too) ► Short selling is doable at Questrade. ► Norbert's Gambit can be performed very easily and quickly. (this is great when you want to do currency conversions like CAD/USD) ► Along with self-directed accounts, they have managed portfolios with the lowest MER%. ► Your accounts are protected up to $10 million. ► Questrade covers your cost when transferring from other brokerages. ► You can connect your TFSA account with your margin account. (this increases your buying power; think of it like overdraft protection) ► Questrade rebates your mutual fund fees. This is done every quarter. ► For added security, they support two-step authentication, and PINs. ► For C# developers, Questrade has a robust API to create your own in-browser apps. ► Many free partner apps to enhance and/or customize the trading platforms. SIGN-UP PROCESS: Questrade is primarily aimed at Canadian residents. USA residents may not be eligible to join. And, although it took me just thirty seconds to sign up, I still had to wait an additional two business days until I was able to begin trading. This was due to the fact that I had to fund my account with the minimum $1,000 requirement. I found the fastest way to fund my account was via my bank's pay a bill method. However, direct wire transfers would technically be the fastest of all, which I have never attempted. Questrade uses "Docu-Sign" when you sign all your documents. It's a pseudo-signature. This speeds up the process when signing up, which was very good. All of your documents are transmitted electronically (including your government ID scans you provide for verification). So, nothing is actually mailed to them. Beneficiary forms, however, are the only document type you will need to mail in physically. A special note: It's very important that your verification documents and bank accounts match your first and last name precisely. Any discrepancy, even down to a single letter, can potentially delay things, including deposits. I had to learn this the hard way when I used my shortened first name (no one calls me by my true first name) when opening my Questrade account -- my bank account uses my full first name :( ACCOUNT PAGES: Questrade has excellent market research tools. I routinely use Market Intelligence, and Intraday Trader. For an extensive look at these tools, please read Canadian Profiteer's excellent Questrade Review. The link is found at the top of this description. Questrade's chat button is always visible on every page. With a simple click I can get immediate live person help. It usually takes around sixty seconds during office hours (8am-8pm). For me, I found them very fast, responsive, and incredibly knowledgeable. TRADING PLATFORMS: Questrade has four trading platforms: ► Questrade Trading (HTML5 web browser platform) - I do most of my trades in this platform. ► Questrade IQ Edge (desktop application for Windows & Macs) - geared more for active traders. ► Questrade App (mobile and tablets on Android & Apple devices) - a good on-the-go platform. ► Questrade FX - this is for forex currency trading. I've never used this but it looks very pretty. For three, of these four, trading platforms I've used, they were feature-rich and intuitive. One notable issue, however, for Linux desktop users, you'll only be able to use their Questrade Trading platform because the other platforms are specific to other system architectures. I hope you enjoyed this short Questrade Review. If you are interested in the extended review check out Canadian Profiteer. #questrade #questradereview

This is a sample lecture taken from my Canadian online investing course called the Personal Pension Academy. In this online course, I teach people how to manage their own money and start building true wealth. My goal in this course is to help investors do 2 things. 1. Completely eliminate or drastically reduce management fees (including mutual fund MER and management fees) that they may not even know they are paying and eating into their wealth 2. Generate a second pay cheque from their savings and/or investments so that money is deposited into their account monthly. I teach people to tap into the potential gold mine that lies hidden in their savings. This lecture is Step 3 of my 8 step process on getting your finances in order to start investing in some solid dividend and income paying stocks and securities. There are 3 types of accounts in Canada that you can set up in order to start managing and investing your own money. - Direct Trading account - RRSP Account (registered account) - TFSA Account (registered account All of these accounts can be opened at a discount brokerage including those offered by the 6 large chartered banks in Canada. They will be need to be set up as self-directed meaning that you have to manage it yourself. In these types of accounts, there are no management fees, just commissions on the purchase and sale of securities. In the Personal Pension Academy, our goal is to buy stocks and other income paying securities that will generate a monthly or quarterly cash flow. My philosophy is that we all go to work for a pay cheque, and our investments should as well. Unfortunately mutual funds do no accomplish this because of the high management fees and mutual fund's MER. You have to invest your money directly if you are going to be successful. Here are some other resources to help you on your way to building wealth and becoming a successful investor. [Ep. 170] ATUL TIWARI - ETFs, INDEX FUNDS & PASSIVE INVESTING IN CANADA

45:30
This episode of the Mo' Money Podcast is supported by Vanguard Investments Canada. To learn why I'm a fan of Vanguard, check out my recent blog post at https://jessicamoorhouse.com/vanguard. Or, head on over to https://vanguardcanada.ca for info on their funds, how to start investing, and how you could save thousands of dollars on fees by choosing low fee funds for your investment portfolio. ___ For this episode of the podcast, I chat with Atul Tiwari, the managing director of Vanguard Investments Canada. He seriously has such a wealth of knowledge, it was such a treat to ask him pretty much anything and everything about Vanguard, passive investing and some key things us Canadians need to know about how to invest for our futures. To give you a little background on Atul, he joined Vanguard in 2011, but before that was the senior vice president of BMO Asset Management and founding president of BMO Exchange Traded Funds. Before that, he was president of BMO’s U.S. subsidiary mutual fund business, Harris Insight Funds. If that wasn’t impressive enough, he used to practice law. Why Low Fees Are So Important This is a subject that comes up no matter who I’m talking to about investing. Probably because absolutely no one likes to pay high fees! Why would they? As Atul said in the podcast, “The best predictor of your investments’ performance is the cost of them.” In other words, no one can predict the outcome of your investments, but you can control one thing — the fees you pay. The lower the fees, the more money in your pocket. The thing is, most people have no idea how much they are paying in fees. Typically, if you’re invested in actively-managed mutual funds, you could be paying 2-2.5% on your investments. If you earn a 6% return on your investments, that leaves you with only 3.5-4% after fees. That may sound like nothing, but after decades of investing, that could amount to hundreds of thousands of dollars. That’s why I’m personally a big fan of low fee index mutual funds and index-based ETFs. They offer the same diversification as actively-managed mutual funds, they track the index, and they have way lower fees. Index Funds in Canada vs. the U.S. This is something I swear no Canadian really knows about. I only figured out the difference when I started doing research about it and talked to a rep at Vanguard for my blog post on investing with Vanguard. They would be the people to ask since Vanguard developed the first ever index mutual fund in 1975. So, when people are talking about index funds in Canada, more times than not they are actually referring to index-based ETFs. In Canada, there are actually only two providers of index mutual funds, Tangerine and TD E-Series. All the big banks offer actively-managed mutual funds, and all the robo-advisors offer index-based ETFs. Then there are the self-directed brokerages like Questrade, though almost all the big banks have their own self-directed brokerages as well. Using those brokerages, you can essentially buy any type of investment product like ETFs, actively-managed mutual funds, stocks, bonds, etc. You cannot however buy index mutual funds. Those can only be bought through those two providers I previously mentioned. Confusing right? Well, the reason I think we Canadians get confused about some of this is because we get a lot of our information from the U.S. In the U.S., index mutual funds are much more popular, and you can even buy them directly from Vanguard. In Canada, you have to go through a brokerage, robo-advisor or financial institution to buy any of Vanguard’s products. This is all to say that the next you’re talking with someone and they mention index funds, ask them whether they mean index-based ETFs, and then feel free to share this episode with them. The Vanguard Effect Atul mentioned in the episode a thing called “The Vanguard Effect” which was originally coined by Morningstar. What this effect means is that when Vanguard enters a new market, like Canada (though it was originally coined when it entered the U.K.), because it offers such low fee products, it causes other investment product providers to also lower their fees. It’s a good thing for us Canadians especially since we have some of the highest fees in the world. Let’s hope things continue down this path in the future! Wealthsimple Trade is a self-directed platform and doesn't offer any financial advice or recommendations. Wealthsimple is an automated investing service that manages your investments for you — including your RRSP and TFSA — using a personalized portfolio of low-fee exchange-traded funds. Wealthsimple also offers savings accounts and provides financial advice. If that's what you're looking for, please click here. I'm new to investing. Should I use Wealthsimple or Wealthsimple Trade? If you're looking to grow your savings over the long-term, a diversified, low-fee portfolio that is rebalanced regularly — like the ones Wealthsimple's automated investing offers — is the smartest way to do that. But that doesn't mean there's no place for buying and selling individual stocks — so long as it's done responsibly as part of a holistic financial plan. How is Wealthsimple Trade different from the big banks and other discount brokerages? Some important differences are that Wealthsimple Trade is completely mobile, charges no commissions on trades, and has no minimum balance. We use technology to drastically reduce our operating costs by eliminating the things that make traditional brokerages expensive — like bank branches, large teams, and legacy systems. Wealthsimple Trade is simple, jargon-free, and human — everything Canadians have come to expect from Wealthsimple. Opening an account takes minutes, and mere seconds for existing Wealthsimple clients. Wealthsimple Trade is a division of Canadian ShareOwner Investments Inc. and is similar to other brokerages in that it is a registered investment dealer and a member of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC). Wealthsimple Trade Big Banks Questrade Qtrade Per Trade Commissions $0 $6.95 - $9.99 $4.95-$9.95 $8.75 How does Wealthsimple Trade have $0 commission trading when other brokerages charge up to $10/trade? We're able to offer commission-free trades because we've built a low-cost, digital-first brokerage powered by technology. And executing trades actually costs very little for brokerages, so we don't think it's fair to charge our clients big trading commissions. How does Wealthsimple Trade make money if there are no commissions? Wealthsimple Trade makes money on currency exchange for US trades, and we plan on launching premium features in the future that will carry fees. We'll publish a clear pricing and fee schedule before the product is available. ***Referral link*** https://wealthsimple.com/trade?r=1IJxl ***Message me here for any questions*** http://shihabsblog.com/contact-me/ ***Consulting call $50 per hour*** Investing or income taxes Happy Investing!!! ***This Chinese phone maker is going PUBLIC with the highest IPO since 2014*** https://goo.gl/U3aZGn ***How to open a Questrade account*** https://youtu.be/uOKedAW-VXI ***check out my personal blog*** www.shihabsblog.com ***Get your incomes taxes filed by a CPA in less than 24 hours and without leaving the comfort of your home*** https://www.facebook.com/shihabtaxes/ ***BONUS, Tangerine is giving 50$ just for opening an account if you use referral code 39138408S1*** www.tangerine.ca

Is It Too Late to Buy Puts on Gold ETFs?

04:35
http://www.options-trading-education.com/24210/is-it-too-late-to-buy-puts-on-gold-etfs/ Is It Too Late to Buy Puts on Gold ETFs? By www.Options-Trading-Education.com The glory days of gold have come and gone. Is it too late to buy puts on gold ETFs? Many gold investors and traders prefer buying and selling shares of gold exchange traded funds as opposed to taking delivery of bars of gold bullion, paying for storage and having to deliver them again to sell. The beauty of options on gold is that you do not even need to buy or sell shares of an ETF. The issue today is if gold will continue to fall. According to Seeking Alpha, today investors flee gold ETFs. Investors have continued to reduce their exposure to gold as the dollar strengthened to new highs in March. Inflation fears have largely abated and gold's spot price has declined by 39% from its all-time high of $1,921.17 in September 2011. The decline in the precious metal, which is currently trading at $1182.40, has coincided with a strengthening US dollar which has benefited from the US economic recovery. The US Federal Reserve is expected to raise interest rates later this year which will drive the value of the dollar higher and likely drive gold lower. So, is it too late to buy puts on gold ETFs? It Is All about Interest Rates Investors.com is more positive about gold and gold ETFs. Their take on gold ETFs is that it is all about interest rates. Exchange traded funds holding the beleaguered bullion surged late last week on dovish Fed signals. With an imminent rate hike all but ruled out, the largest ETF tracking the yellow metal, SDPR Gold Shares (ARCA:GLD), popped 2% in Wednesday trade. It's risen further since. "The biggest thing that impacts gold in dollar terms is interest rates," says gold expert Frank Holmes, CEO of U.S. Global Investors. Any upward or downward shift in rates ripples through what Holmes describes as the "fear trade" in bullion. To the extent that the Fed holds off in raising rates gold will go up a little as will gold ETFs. When rates do go up gold and gold ETFs will suffer. If you get the timing right puts on Gold ETFs could be profitable. Not Just ETFs If you expect gold to go down puts on ETFs may be profitable but also puts on gold stocks will work as well. The NASDAQ Stock Options Channel highlights one put option and one call option on Barrick Gold Corp. Consistently, one of the more popular stocks people enter into their stock options watchlist at Stock Options Channel is Barrick Gold Corp. (Symbol: ABX). So this week we highlight one interesting put contract, and one interesting call contract, from the January 2016 expiration for ABX. The put contract our YieldBoost algorithm identified as particularly interesting, is at the $10 strike, which has a bid at the time of this writing of 61 cents. Collecting that bid as the premium represents a 6.1% return against the $10 commitment, or an 8% annualized rate of return (at Stock Options Channel we call this the YieldBoost ). Read the article for the details. The point of all this is that gold is not going a lot higher any time soon and there is the potential for a steep fall in gold prices denominated in dollars as the US economy continues to recover. It is probably not too late to buy puts on gold ETFs. http://youtu.be/Uioz1LCJvPo

Robo Advisors: Investor Friend or Foe?

If I’m going to talk about robo advisors, I need to start by clearing something up. These firms do not employ robots. They do not use advanced artificial intelligence or machine learning to build your portfolio or give you advice. Robo advisors are simply pared down wealth management firms that allow you to easily open an investment account and choose an appropriate portfolio online without speaking to a human. I’m Ben Felix, Associate Portfolio Manager at PWL Capital. In this episode of Common Sense Investing, I’m going to tell you about robo advisors. KWEB ETF Review - Chinese Internet Stocks

10:53
After considering many different stocks in the China's internet sector, I recently came across the KraneShares China Internet ETF (KWEB). This video discusses the value of the KWEB ETF for investors like myself, and why the fundamentals suggest it could be an easy win to buy during the current dip. The top KWEB holding are listed below: TENCENT HOLDINGS LTD (700 HK) ALIBABA GROUP HOLDING (BABA) BAIDU INC (BIDU) MEITUAN DIANPING (HK) NETEASE INC (NTES) PINDUODUO INC (PDD) CTRIP.COM INTERNATIONAL (CTRP) JD.COM INC (JD) What are your projections for chinese stocks in 2019? I believe the trade war will slowly be resolved, making now a good time to consider buying low. An ETF, at least for me, takes away the risk of choosing one stock, especially when there are several internet companies in China that are worth investing in. Horizons ETFs Management President and CEO Steve Hawkins talks about the strength of the firm’s Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences Index ETF (TSE:HMMJ) (OTCMKTS:HMLSF) in light of the US midterm elections and the Jeff Sessions resignation. Hawkins believes neither event will impact Canadian companies in the short term and that US cannabis companies will still list on Canadian exchanges because of access to capital markets. Hawkins emphasizes that Canadian companies aren’t simply trying to meet the demand of the new Canadian recreational market, but are also continuing to expand into international markets. He believes cannabis is still a long term investment play and that retail investors should be interested in companies that are investing in more efficient production methods. ************************ Check out our website: https://midasletter.com ************************ SUBSCRIBE to our YouTube: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterYoutube SUBSCRIBE to our Newsletter: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterNewsletter Download Our Podcast on iTunes: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterPodcast ************************ Follow Us on Twitter: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterTwitter Like Us on Instagram: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterInsta Like Us on Facebook: http://bit.ly/MidasLetterFacebook ************************ #HorizonsETF #WeedStocks #MidasLetter

NETFLIX AND STOCKS - HOW I GENERATE PASSIVE INCOME - BUY ASSETS NOT LIABILITIES - VLOG 003

I've been getting a lot of questions on Instagram about how I actually go about buying stocks. This is not a sponsored video in any way, I just wanted to share what I'm doing. After using banks and online brokerages, I've settled on Questrade to trust my investments. I've been using them for the last few years to hold the majority of my investment portfolio and have never had a problem with them. As I always say, I would never recommend a service I did not personally use - and I use Questrade. This isn't an ad, I'm just a super fan of their service. I enjoy investing through them so much I decided to become an affiliate partner, which really only means I have an affiliate link I can send people when they ask me what I use, so if you're interesting in trying them out or signing up anyway then feel free to use my link: https://www.questrade.com/?refid=5c83fb6314a5c -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ▶ Check out my gear on Kit: https://kit.com/BenjaminGarden I pulled the camera out to record a real buy I was about to make. A very small purchase of a bond ETF to show the technical mechanics and the software I'm currently using. Been getting a lot of interest lately on what software I'm using, and how I actually tell the brokerage to buy on my behalf. I've decided to go with Questrade as my brokerage to buy and sell stocks - I've been using them for the past 2 years. The software I'm using is called Questrade IQ Edge. Links below to get setup if you want to check it out. I know I haven't posted consistently lately, I'm hoping that is about to change. — FOLLOW ME HERE: Instagram: http://instagram.com/ben.garden Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/benjamingarden Website https://twitter.com/GardenBenjamin LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/benjaming... Subscribe for blog posts to your email: https://www.benjamingarden.com/blog-1/ — Hi I'm Benjamin! I'm a 31 year old working professional in Toronto, and I've been planning my retirement since I got my first job at 16. Ever since I was a kid, I've been very aware of my relationship with money. I never received an allowance growing up, I didn't come from money and I paid for my own education in full without assistance. Throughout 4 years of University and 2 years of Graduate School, I took on a massive student loan just like my fellow students, only, unlike other students, I invested all of it over the 6 years and paid the debt back in full the day after I graduated (avoiding interest payments). I did this by hustling, working different jobs throughout school, and keeping a very close eye on my spending to help offset my cost of living. I made saving money a priority even back before I had a real job, and I automated the process - this is the key. A couple months after graduating debt free, I bought my first car in cash from my investment so I could start my first real job in the big city and I never looked back. Now I teach people how to achieve financial independence.

+$3,540 in 2 minutes day trading APH (Aphria Inc) on the TSX today :)

11:33
What an interesting day it was today - All marijuana stocks on the TSX were down at least 10% pre-market, including WEED, APH, and ACB. and i gambled a bit buying shares of Aphria at market price on the open. 2 minutes later I sold my stock (after much confusion with the TD Advanced Dashboard software) for a tidy $3,450 profit. To be honest it ended up being super depressing making that $3,450 profit - I sold at $14.39, which was 0.59 up from my purchase price, however the stock rebounded nearly 15% from opening bell ($13.80 up to $17.22) before closing at $15.77. Had I hung on (I know, hindsight is 20-20), I could have turned $3450 into something closer to $20,000. Ah well, can't complain about a profit...

Wealthsimple Review 2018 | The Pros & Cons

11:18
Get $10,000 Managed Free: https://bit.ly/2NrpEv1 Wealthsimple Platform Review: https://youtu.be/n0A8Q3To0bI In this video, I’ll be reviewing a financial platform called Wealthsimple. For those of you who aren’t familiar, Wealthsimple is a robo investment platform that in essence acts as an online personal advisor for investors. When you create an account with Wealthsimple, you’ll begin by taking a brief assessment. Based on your results, a personal portfolio will be created based on your risk tolerance. Now as opposed to other trading platforms or in-person investment advisors, Wealthsimple costs only 0.5% a year for investors and also requires no account minimum. Although Wealthsimple costs more than its competitor services like Wealthfront and Betterment, 0.5% a year is still very cheap compared to an in-person advisor. Wealthsimple does also offer a premium account called Wealthsimple Black for investors with over $100 thousand dollars. Comes with a few added benefits such as a 0.4% yearly management fee, increased tax efficiency, VIP airline lounge access which is pretty fancy, global based planning whih to be honest, I’m not really sure what that means. Wealthsimple can be accessed on your computer, smartphone or tablet and has an incredible design that’s super easy to use. For more information on the Wealthsimple platform itself, I’ll be releasing a behind the scenes demo of that on Thursday so stay tuned. One thing that I find interesting about Wealthsimple is that they give you the option to invest in a socially responsible portfolio or a Halal portfolio. A socially responsible portfolio is ethical and will not only benefit you but will also benefit the environment. A Halal portfolio is one that complies with Islamic investing principles. This is one aspect that really helps set Wealthsimple apart from its competitors. Wealthsimple offers 5 different account types: Individual Joint (For multiple owners such as a relative, spouse, or business partner) Retirement (Traditional, Roth, SEP IRAs) Trust (Set up an account on behalf of someone else) Smart Savings which would be used for something like an emergency fund So whatever stage you’re at in life, chances are Wealthsimple may be able to help you. So whether you’re considering investing with Wealthsimple or not, here are some of the pros and cons: First, let’s talk about the pros: Wealthsimple has no account minimum so there’s no commitment when you open an account. You have the option to invest in socially responsible or Halal portfolios They offer real human advice are available to help in case you ever need any assistance Wealthsimple can save you time and stress because they automatically rebalance your portfolio for you Recurring deposits, portfolio rebalancing, dividend reinvestment, tax-loss harvesting They have an awesome design and user interface that’s great for tracking your portfolio. You’ll actually be able to see this in my video on Thursday. They are fully regulated, Insured, and secure You can invest if you live in Canada or the UK Invests in fractional shares meaning all of your money gets invested So here’s the deal. Wealthsimple is a great platform for anyone who’s looking to invest but who doesn’t want to have to build or maintain their own portfolio. Once your portfolio is built based upon your pre-screening questions, all you have to do it set recurring deposits and Wealthsimple will take care of the rest until you decide you want to change your portfolio. Wealthsimple will also automatically reinvest your dividends which will help your money compound in the long-run. Personally, I feel Wealthsimple is a great platform for anyone who is either new to investing or who doesn’t want the hassle of maintaining their own investment portfolio. With Wealthsimple, all you have to do is deposit your money and they take care of the rest. Wealthsimple is also great for anyone who is looking to invest in either a Socially responsible or Halal portfolio. 🔥 3 Stocks to Buy in August 2018? 🔥

08:28
🔴 *VIP Membership Group* 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make! Join now ► http://bit.ly/2Gk9JfW These are the 3 stocks to buy in August 2018? I go over 3 stocks that I believe are good stocks to invest in August 2018. All 3 stocks have recently taken a hit and have all created gaps, which is what I love looking for for good swing plays, and I'll go through these picks coming up. Stock #1: This is a stock that usually flies under the radar, but has an excellent run in 2017 and even recently in 2018 until it's last earnings report. If you don't know what the company does, they are a Linux company that provides software and services to enterprises. I do a deep dive on this stock in my Deep Dive Analysis series so make sure you check that out. The reason it caught my attention is because they had good earnings, but their guidance was lower than that was expected and as a result, the stock took a nosedive, and IMO this is an overreaction. Gap plays like this are usually some of my favorite swing plays, this stock pretty much meets all the criteria for this. Stock #2: This is a company that makes beer, wines, and spirits. They are also known recently for their huge 10% stake in canopy growth corp., which hits at where they want the company to move going forward. Some popular brands they own include Modelo and Corona. These guys also took a big hit after earnings, which is what caught my attention as well and it was a very stable stock over the last few years, but it ran too far from it's support. Stock #3: These guys are a massive semiconductor company and is most well known for their dominance in the wireless space. They also recently reported earnings, which were strong, and the stock did not drop because of it. However, they did announce they wanted to acquire CA Technologies for $18.9B, which is when we saw the big drop in the stock. Investors are not too sure about this as they already has large amounts of debt, and with this acquisition, it adds even more stress to their balance sheet. Thus, we are seeing weakness in the stock as investors evaluate if they want to continue supporting this company. 🔴 *VIP Membership Group* 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make! Is Aurora Stock a Buy? (ACB Stock Analysis 2019) 📈

10:59
Is Aurora Stock a Buy in 2019? In this Aurora Stock Analysis video, we go over ACB Stock and decide if Aurora Cannabi is a Buy or Sell. Aurora is a popular stock with investors and after their most recent earnings report, investors are wondering if Aurora Stock is a good investment. Analysts for Aurora (https://goo.gl/PHRMjF) predict some upside in the stock. Check out the link and sign up for TipRanks absolutely free. Aurora is one of the most popular stocks in the Cannabis space, and it's extremely popular amount millennial and younger investors. They are a leader in global Marijuana by cultivation, scale, and revenue. They are also the sector leader in technology across operations and production development, while being active in 22 countries across 5 continents. They have a global reach which is what makes them so enticing. They currently have over 71,000 medical patients served and that number should keep growing exponentially in 2019, into 2020. In terms of production capacity, they currently produce around 100,000 kg/year, and by mid 2019 they plan to produce 150,000 kg/year after the Aurora Sky Facility is opened fully. By mid 2020, their goal is to reach upwards of 500,000 kg/year - absolutely exponential growth. They currently face stiff competition from Canopy Growth Corp Stock (CGC Stock) and Aphria Stock (APHA Stock) but has recently passed both of them in quarterly revenue. The charts have been flat compared to historic volatility in the stock - and it looks like it's looking for a big catalyst to break past that $5-$8 range it's currently stuck in for the last 2 quarters. It is above all moving averages which is a very healthy and bullish sign. Volume has also been high in 2019, which a lot of investors taking positions in Aurora Stock at current valuations. They currently have a PE of 35, and no forward PE, however I don't expect them to be profitable in the next year. Once Aurora Sky is fully functional, then we can see profits come in and have it pay for itself. Cash balance sits at just under $500M and debt around $200M, so they are safe for now with a Cash/Debt Ratio of 2.38. Revenue has gone from 0 in 2015, to 55M in 2018, to projected over 100M in 2019 - exponential growth again! However Operating Income is suffering currently, but Net Income was profitable in 2018, even though capital spending increased as well. Aurora did lay out a path to profitability for investors - with a near term, medium term, and long term view. The general idea here is that they plan to focus on production and efficiencies in that department in the short term, then in the medium term they want more R&D to increase margins, and for the long term they want to build their brand and variety of products offered. With all things considered, Aurora looks like a very strong stock in the Marijuana space for 2019 - but is it a buy? Watch the video to find out. #ACB #Aurora #AuroraCannabi #AuroraStock #ACBStock 🔴 *VIP Membership Group* 🔴 View my portfolio & every single trade I make!
