A mysterious mummified skull was found in Peru. It had an odd, elongated shape and was almost as big as its body, which measured around 20 inches. The skull was one of two sets of remains found in the southern part of the country. The second mummy was found incomplete and measured about 12 inches. The discoveries were made by Renato Davila Riquelme, who works for the Privado Ritos Andinos Museum in Cusco (KOOS-kaw). He noted several anomalies about the strange skull. It possessed eye cavities much larger than found in humans … It has two large molars, which are normally found in older humans -- but the skull also has a soft spot called a ‘fontanelle’, which is usually characteristic of children about a year old. Mr Riquelme also noted that the skull’s features could not be matched with any of the world’s ethnic groups. DNA analysis was planned to be conducted on the remains of an eyeball found in the eye socket. Still, he says that anthropologists from Spain and Russia arrived to examine the remains in Cusco (KOOS-kaw) … and their findings all agreed that whatever this skull belonged to was -- quote -- “not a human being”.
Could it be proof of extraterrestrial life … or is there another explanation? Let us know in the comments.
Alien On Ice
In 2011, a number of UFO sightings took place in Russia. One of the stories that stood out involved a woman who allegedly kept the corpse of an extraterrestrial in her refrigerator! She claimed to have retrieved the critter’s body after a UFO crashed near her home in 2009. After which she kept it in the fridge to preserve it … her logic was not explained. But she did circulate pictures of the body to prove its existence. It kind of resembled a mash up of a fish and a humanoid … with bulging eyes, a huge noggin and a weird appendage that extended from its body. We found that a few days after her story appeared two gentlemen claiming to be from the Karelian (kah-REE-lee-un) Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences gave her a visit…. And left with the strange corpse.
The remains of what were alleged to be the skeletons of tiny winged fairies were said to have been found in the basement of an old house in London. Along with the small skeletons, the remains of purported werewolves, aliens and other unidentifiable monstrosities were found at the same location in 1960. At that time, the residence had been scheduled for demolition in order to clear the area for a new residential neighborhood to be constructed there. The long-abandoned mansion was owned by an obscure 19th century biologist and aristocrat named Thomas Theodore Merrilyn … who left behind thousands of small wooden, coffinlike boxes that were occupied by horrific, otherworldly creatures. The artifacts later came to light in stories posted online in 2016 by a man named Alex CF, who now claims to serve as curator of the horrid collection. Do you think they were real?
In 2003, a bizarre discovery was made in Chile’s Atacama Desert … the remains of what appeared to an extraterrestrial creature. The specimen measured only 6 inches long, and had an elongated skull, giving it an alien appearance. But when experts from Stanford University analyzed its DNA, its was shown to be a human that lived centuries ago -- we couldn’t find an exact time frame. Still, there were plenty of questions. Why did it have only 10 ribs? Why was its skull so oddly formed? What could account for its small stature? Analysis indicated the specimen was around 6 to 8 years old … so why would a child that age be so tiny?
Experts say that no known form of dwarfism that would correspond with the creature’s age and miniscule size. And there’s the matter of the creature’s genetic material -- some of its genes don’t match the human genome. Doctors have ruled this to be a viable organism and not a hoax of any kind … and its true origins remain a mystery.
