EP001 $52k Paid Off in 7 Months
That moment when you realize you are officially out of money. We coasted through life until one day we found ourselves maxed out, overdrawn, and completely broke. As painful as it was to feel ashamed, embarrassed, and utterly hopeless….pain is also a great motivator. Listen to what we changed right away, what we learned along the way, and how we went from broke and living paycheck to paycheck, to then paying off $52k in only 7 months.

EP010 Don't be Duped by the 30 Year Mortgage
Housing is the BIGGEST expense most of us will ever have to deal with, and yet it's kind of a big mystery. Why do we choose a 30 year mortgage and what are the better options? If I go to a 15-year mortgage, what happens to my payment? What happens if I can add just a little bit each month to my mortgage and what does that look like over time? The reason why we ask these questions is simple: we were never taught how. Instead we sign our lives away without a clue of what is really going on and what other options are available. If that's not enough, we are then thrown into the bank's wonderful plan of making payments and interest for the majority of our lives and wondering why we can't seem to get ahead. No thanks. In this week's episode of Money Peach TV, we are going to break down the 30 year mortgage vs the 15 year mortgage, and some other jaw-dropping facts about what you can and should be doing to becoming ultra fit by paying off your mortgage early! http://www.moneypeach.com/session10

EP059: A 6 Figure Salary to Pick Up Trash? You Better Believe It - with Brian Winch
I received an email from Brian Winch of CleanLots and he told me, “I’ve been cleaning up litter in and around commercial properties for over 30 years and I’ve been earning a 6 figure income from it.” Wow! That is an email I’ll read all day long! I decided to head on over to his website and sure enough this guy started a side hustle back in 1981 and now generates an incredible income doing what he calls “walking around parking lots and picking up trash”. Since one of the most common questions I receive is “how can I earn extra money to…..?” I decided to bring Brian on the show to share how anyone (literally a-n-y-o-n-e) can start their own litter pickup service and generate income right away. I ask Brian… • To share his story • What is the first step if someone were to get started today? • How much can one really earn when getting started? • Why there is the need for people to pick up litter? • How many hours per week and when can you put in the work? • How can we find out more? EP053: Chris Hogan (Dave Ramsey Team) on the Retirement IQ
Speaker, author, and Ramsey personality, Chris Hogan comes on the show today to share his story and talk all about retirement. Chris has an amazing story of how he went from winning a football national championship in college, to working in the banking industry, and then later joining Dave Ramsey’s team as one of Dave’s Ramsey personalities. I also asked Chris to come on the show to talk about his passion - the do’s and don’ts of retiring wealthy. Chris has made quite a name for himself by looking at retirement from a different perspective - “...retirement is no longer an age...it’s a number”. Behind the scenes - interviewing Chris was a little surreal for me. Before today, the only interaction I had with Chris Hogan was after I waited in line for an hour to get an autograph and picture with him after attending one of his shows here in Phoenix a few years back. EP051: Daily Rich Habits of Millionaires with Tom Corley
In 2013, I was listening to the Dave Ramsey Show on the radio when he brought up an incredible book called Rich Habits by author Tom Corley. After hearing about the book, and then listening to the interview with Mr. Corley, I immediately purchased the book and finished it that evening. The Rich Habits were so powerful in my own life that I have continued to practice those same ten habits from the thousands of millionaires Tom interviewed for his research for his book all these years later. What are the habits of America’s wealthiest people and what are the habits of the America’s poorest people? Some of what we talk about is obvious, however Tom shares some stories of other habits that none of us would ever even think about. My favorite…”the Hello Call”. Tom Corley is not only an incredible guest to have on the show, but he shares habits you can start creating in your own life right now which will have a direct correlation on your income, net worth, financial security, and overall well-being. EP062: 27 Year Old Blogger Makes $1,000,000 Per Year - with Michelle Schroeder-Gardner
Michelle Shroeder-Gardner is one in a million. In 2011 she had started her blog Making Sense of Cents as a hobby to share her ideas of how she was managing the money in her early 20s. It wasn’t until after six months of blogging for fun, she was told by a friend she could actually make a few bucks through her blog. Six months later she made her first $100 and began to realize there was room for growth. Fast forward to 2017 and she is consistently earning over $100,000 every single month from her blog! Not only is she generating an incredible income from her laptop, she is also doing all of this while living in an RV full-time with her husband so they can travel all over the United States. I wanted Michelle to come on the show to share how she is as normal as normal can be, yet she also has such an incredible accomplishment - financial freedom and the ability to live the life many only dream about. During the interview, I ask... What sets Michelle apart from the thousands of bloggers who are trying to do the same thing she is? How many hours per week does she really work? What does a normal day look like for Michelle? How does she generate income from her blog? How does one really live full-time in an RV? EP012 The Opportunity COST
In this week's episode of the Money Peach Podcast, you and I are going to look deep into the opportunity cost. Popular culture and society tells us that procrastination is okay and we accept it. We will lose weight later, we will excercise more later, we will pencil in a date night later, and we will pay attention to our money later. Here's the problem: money is less forgiving. During this episode, I am going to shock you when you see how making tiny adjustments in our daily lives with money will have enormous results on your life, money, and your future. The term a little goes a long way is not cliche today; it's reality. http://www.moneypeach.com/session12

EP043: Building a Massive Real Estate Portfolio In Your 20s - with Dana Bull
Real Estate Investor Dana Bull comes on the show to talk about how she has built an impressive real estate portfolio starting in her early 20s. Dana has what I would consider extreme work ethic. Not only is she spending time as a real estate agent, she is also working feverishly to find the best properties for her own portfolio, and is also the full-time landlord to the current rental properties her and her husband have acquired thus far. Today she is reaping the benefits of both her hustle as an entrepreneur and also the incredible financial decisions she made at a very early age. Dana provide a ton of value during the interview and touches on... The 1% rule for real estate Extreme savings early on translates into massive opportunity The amount mortgages you can obtain at once with today’s rules The greatest risks and concerns involved with real estate investing Handling the “what ifs” from tenants Going with turnkey properties versus an empty rental Continuing to SACRIFICE NOW to achieve the end result The end goal - 21 units by age 30 and paid off by 34 Whether you are looking to start your own business, jump into real estate investing, or just want to hear how someone in their 20s is building a passive income stream to last a lifetime, you are going to find a ton of value from this episode. You have probably seen the numerous different sites offering to get you out of your timeshare, right? The first rule is this: if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is too good to be true. Which is why I interviewed timeshare exit expert, Gordon Newton, to explain how these timeshare exit scams work and what you need to be aware of. Some of the topics Gordon and I touch on: • Why timeshares are so hard to get out of • How to avoid high-pressure selling from timeshare companies • How can timeshare-exit companies really offer money-back guarantee? • How the “guarantee” actually costs you more money in the long run • What happens when sign the dotted line Gordon is also giving away his free 16 page guide called “The Consumer's Guide to TimeShare Exit” which is an incredible resource for anyone who owns a timeshare! EP76: Earning over $600k Counting Cards? - with Colin Jones
Colin Jones, founder of Blackjack Apprenticeship, on the show this week to share his crazy story of going from flat broke to generating a very high income by counting cards in Blackjack. Yes, it sounds absolutely crazy and it was hard for me to digest when I first heard about his story. But, after meeting Colin in person and asking him everything I possibly could, I asked him to share his story. Colin and I both agree that gambling is dumb. Sure, it’s fun and can be a form of entertainment, but NEVER count on it as a way to provide income. This is where Colin comes in - he is adamant that he doesn’t gamble. Instead, he is investing in the game of Blackjack and has an actual advantage over the house. This may also be the reason why he as been asked to leave countless casinos over the past decade for “winning too much”. I ask Colin a bunch of questions I am sure you’re wondering too. Here are some of the main points we hit: • Gambling vs Investing - I needed an explanation here • How long it takes to realistically count cards • Is it even legal (or just frowned upon) • Building his card counting team and generating $4 Million • His advice for anyone thinking about getting started • Success stories and huge losses along the way • The church group of card counters - “The Holy Rollers” • Free resources where you can learn to count cards too All the show notes, links, and anything Colin and I mentioned can be found at https://www.moneypeach.com/session76

EP041: How I Grew Money Peach from the Ground Up
Behind-the-scenes of how I am growing Money Peach. Over the past few weeks I have interviewed some of the most successful entrepreneurs in their specific niche and have learned a ton myself as the result of having them all on the show. However, all of the entrepreneurs up to this point have (or just about) “made it”. They are wildly successful in both their personal and professional lives, which is why I asked them to come on the show in the first place. But, one thing I haven’t done on the podcast yet is to bring on someone who was still getting started, still finding their way, and still growing their business from the ground up. In this episode I am completely transparent with my own business, Money Peach. What started as an idea (in my bath robe) at my kitchen table has grown into a powerful blog, weekly podcast, and an online training program that stretches all over the United States and now the entire globe! In this episode I share with the the top 10 things I have learned growing my business and the lessons I wish I would have known starting on day one. This episode was a little intimidating for me to record since I do share more about the business than I have before, but I also know this is going to help you with your upcoming dreams, goals, and plans. At the end of the episode, I would be so thankful if you could leave me a comment with your feedback of what you liked and/or didn’t like. EP060: The #1 Radio Show Host Gets Fired (and his Incredible Comeback) - with Mark Asher

EP052: Automating the Everyday Money with Trim Founder/CEO - Thomas Smyth
A few months ago I came across this really incredible FinTech (Financial Technology) software called Trim. Trim does many things like sending me a message letting me know how many subscriptions I have active, how much I am (over) paying, and even allows me to cancel anything and everything with one push of a button! The way I think about Trim is this: it’s the virtual assistant in the background of my life, working 24/7 for free, and making me look like a financial rockstar when it comes to the everyday money. Which is why I wanted to talk to the man behind Trim - Thomas Smyth. Thomas is my favorite kind of entrepreneur. He took an idea running around in his head, gave it a direction, and created an incredible product with a very strong WHY behind it - to automate our good financial habits so we can focus on the things in life we would much rather focus on...versus spending an hour on the phone with the cable company negotiating a bill (Trim does this). EP040: The Profit Boss, Hilary Hendershott
Hilary Hendershott, MBA, CFP, from Profit Boss Radio is coming on the show to open our eyes to the way we all FEEL about money. What makes Hilary different from much of the finance world is her belief system with money. She believes no matter how much we make, how much we have, or how much we want, our mind controls the flow of money in and out of our life. She is also a self-proclaimed neuroscience geek and has read everything she could find on the psychology behind money behaviors and habits. Her belief system of personal finance goes much deeper than you would have ever thought possible, opening your eyes to many of the questions you have about your own money behaviors. The Best Part of the Episode... We both agree on a many of the same financial principles and beliefs, however there is one key thing we don’t agree on at all - budgeting. Her and I do go back and forth on this “touchy” subject, but I will add she also does an excellent job explaining why she is against budgeting. At the end of the day it’s simply one thing we aren’t going to agree on (which is perfectly okay). Hilary was an amazing guest and at the end she even throws in her latest eBook for free: The Mind Over Money Guide. EP80: The $10K V.A. (Virtual Assistant) - with Kayla Sloan
Kayla Sloan has been my virtual assistant since the very beginning of Money Peach. There is so much that goes into creating blog content, putting together a weekly podcast, helping students inside the Awesome Money Course, and making sure it all goes smoothly. Without Kayla, there’s no possible way I could get all of this done and still work as a full-time firefighter. Recently I have had a few people ask me how they could generate extra income every month to pay off debt faster, to cover their mortgage, to buy groceries, or to simply just have a little fun with money! That’s where Kayla comes in. You see, Kayla didn’t go to college to become a virtual assistant and she doesn’t have a background in information technology. Instead she simply helps people with whatever they need online...and now just a few years later she’s making over $10,000 every single month by doing so! During our interview, I ask Kayla: • How she get started as a virtual assistant• How she first began reaching out to potential clients• What her rates were in the beginning versus now• How long it took her to quit her full-time day-job to work as a V.A.• What tools and resources she recommends to get started All the show notes, links, and anything Kayla and I mentioned can be found at https://www.moneypeach.com/session80

EP86: If You Want to Get Better, Find a Mentor - with Bobby Hoyt
Fellow blogger and founder of Millennial Money Man, Bobby Hoyt has a lot in common with me. We both paid off quite a bit of debt in a very short amount of time, and we both did it the same way - with SACRIFICE. However, one of the main things we both completely agree on is how much we both value our mentors. Bobby shares how and where he met his mentor and how his life and business have completely transformed since they started working together. I chime in quite a bit on the conversation because of the belief I have in finding someone you can look up to in business, relationships, goal-setting, family, etc., and asking them the tough question: “would you become my mentor”. In fact, if you haven’t listened yet, I interviewed John (the person I meet with on a regular basis) in April 2017 in Episode 38: Retired by 34? With John Gaston During the episode, Bobby and I talk about: What to look for in a mentor How to ask someone to become your mentor Why we place so much importance on a quality mentor The #1 thing you must do to KEEP your mentor AND...I will even challenge you to take action (you must listen) All the show notes, links and anything Bobby and I mentioned can be found at https://www.moneypeach.com/session86

EP011 Your Kids Are Watching You
Where did you learn how to manage money? The old saying: "More is caught than taught" is how most of us learn about money. We unknowingly picked up many of the bad money habits our parents struggled through when we were younger, and surprise, surprise; now we are making the same mistakes they once were (or still are). This doesn't have to be the case for the next generation - our kids. What can you be showing your 4 year old AND your 16 year old about money? In this week's episode, I am going to walk you step by step with the best possible ways to teach your kids about money at every single age. It's never too late to start, but the sooner the better! You don't want boomerang kids (the ones that move back in when they're 30) and you may need a little help from some financially stable adults in 20-30 years! www.moneypeach.com/session11
